Je suis rentrée il y a à peine une semaine de Brooklyn...Brooklyn, tu me manques déjà! Souvenez-vous, une cops m'y a prêté son appart si bien situé dans Cobble Hill pendant 10 jours!

Et dire qu'avant mon départ toutes les personnes à qui je disais que j'allais séjourner à Brooklyn lors de mon séjour à NYC me rétorquaient : 'tu vas séjourner à Brooklyn? Mais t'as pas peur? C'est dangereux là-bas, fais attention à toi!'

Pfff...si ces personnes savaient! Bref, Brooklyn me manque...mais j'y ai pris RDV au printemps 2011 @)

Je vous ai déjà parlé de Brooklyn Heights ICI , de ses apparts de malade et de la superbe vue sur la skyline de Mahanattan au coucher du soleil ainsi que de Coney Island LA.

Et voici aujourd'hui deux adresses gourmandes en images suivies mercredi de photos de promenades dans Brooklyn que j'ai adoré parcourir (borough si calme à quelques minuttes en métro de Manhattan!).

@@@ le salon de thé-jardin Sweet Melissa (situé à 10 minutes à pieds de l'appart : superbe endroit pour prendre un petit-déj gourmand avant d'affronter Manhattan. Pour 4e50 j'y ai dégusté un croissant, un pudding aux cerises et un café au lait sublimes, merci à mon précieux Cartoville NYC pour cette divine adresse) :

Last days here, I am flying back to Paris on monday evening : I don't want to!

Crazy day today with some friends! I organised a farewell brunch at Clinton Street Baking in LES. Even if we had to wait one hour and a half outside to be able to eat these very good pancakes it was fantastic to meet them there from Boston, Los Angeles and Brooklyn in Manhattan, Lower East Side...

Yesterday was the hotest day of the week in NYC! I think I couldn't stand this heat any more! More than 40 degrees, can you imagine? Hopefully Earl was on its way to cool down the city today. The Labor Day week-end is announced to be more enjoyable for walking time!

So between a job meeting at the NYAS early in the morning and a late (disgusting) lunch with two job-collaborators I had a one hour shopping at Century 21. I tried many clothes and shoes and accessories, funny! Finally this bag will be for my sister, this cute shoes for me and I decided not to buy the synthetic fur coat (40 USD instead of 250)...but it was so cold in the shop that it was a great pleasure to wear it while shopping! And unfortunatly the beautifull cape was too big for me!
